Franzen Reservoir Rehabilitation for City of Salem, Turner, Oregon.

The contract involves modifying the existing footprint, lining and covering, and constructing a stormwater detention basin. ES&A conducted wetland and sensitive species assessments for the areas that may be impacted by the reservoir improvements. Upon finalizing the design, ES&A will obtain environmental permits for the project.

Bull Run Dam 2 Tower Improvements for the City of Portland Bureau of Water Works, Clackamas County, Oregon.
The contract involved upgrading the two water intake towers located in the Bull Run Reservoir #1. The Bull Run watershed is the principal source of water for the City of Portland. Services included leading and producing draft work products that relate to environmental, biological, regulatory, and permitting issues, and coordinating communications with the City of Portland Bureau of Water Works, regulatory and resource agencies. Specific tasks include identifying and evaluating water quality, environmental and biological, permits and regulatory issues, and coordinating with the resource and regulatory agencies.

Tryon Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant Natural Resources Evaluation for City of Portland Bureau of Environmental Services, Lake Oswego, Oregon.
Conducted natural resource and sensitive species evaluations for proposed modifications to the Tryon Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant Aeration Basin in Lake Oswego, Oregon. The project involved preparing a natural resource impact evaluation report, planting plan and mitigation performance standards in support of the City of Lake Oswego Land Use Review and Building permit applications.
