ES&A provided agency consultation, wetland assessment, mitigation design and environmental permitting services for this 104-acre industrial site in southeast Portland. ESA staff developed a plan to resolve a wetland fill violation and fill 4.9 acres of existing degraded wetland to convert a historic log storage area into ten contiguous acres of usable industrial land. A compensatory Mitigation Plan prepared for the project restored 8 acres of historic wetlands along the site perimeter to enhance existing resources and create a contiguous natural area at the site boundaries. ES&A completed the 5-year mitigation monitoring and the project ended successfully.
